DAY 30 | Repair Before Disposing

Repair is one of the “R” commandments of being green. And repairing is something we have lost touch with. Things are so cheap and disposable nowadays, it doesn’t really matter if your phone charger breaks. You can throw it away and buy a new one for $2.

Now I have an awesome husband who knows how to do the wiring. So whenever my Rumple rabbit chews through a cord, Brandon is always there to the rescue. That alone has saved us money and has saved cords from heading to the landfill.

So, for now on whenever something breaks, I’m going to give it my best efforts to repair it instead of a) throwing it out and b) buying a new one.
