So, 15 days ago I got married. I wanted to share a little bit of my big day with you.

That whole week I was losing my mind. I was up day and night working on finishing up a big project, getting reading for the wedding and staring off into space. I didn’t sleep and at one point, I freaked out over my new glasses because they totally were not the ones that I picked out. I spent an hour going back to the eye doctor’s office and staring at the display glasses. They reassured me that they were indeed the ones I picked out.

Putting the craziness aside, I had a blast. My maid of honor came all the way from Baltimore to stay the weekend. We spend 6 hours the day before working on decorations and realizing later that we did way more then we supposed to.

Two night before the bride, groom, best man, maid of honor, my uncle mike and my grandfather all went out bowling as a celebratory/bachelor party type of thing. It was fun! We totally handled this wedding in a more un-traditional way. We saw each other the morning of the wedding, before the ceremony even started and in the dress and tux! I was glad he was there by my side or I would have been more nervous than I would have.

I wasn’t nervous when I got to the venue. I wasn’t nervous when everyone was seated. When the music started, however… I started getting feelings! But, as I entered the room, it all went away.

I will be updating this post with the video and some pictures of the day, stay tuned!

The day after, we drove 5 hours to the mountains of West Virginia. We spent a week in a tiny cabin on the mountains. It was really nice and relaxing, and I love that we got to spend so much time together.

We went shooting, petted baby cows, watched Deadpool, went cave exploring, watched movies, played board games and went to a planetarium. I even squeezed in a massage and read 4 books.

All is vowed and done now. It’s time to get back into the groove of things.
